I'm a neuroscientist specializing in development of software and hardware applications for experimental control, measurement, and analysis. During my years as an academic scientist, I focused on the neurophysiology of cortical visual processing. Since coming to UW, I've collaborated on multiple studies to learn what human electrophysiology (e.g., brain waves, heart rhythms, skin conductance) can tell us about vision and visual dysfunction, reading, aphasia, anxiety, memory, chronic pain, and neurodegeneration. In my free time, I cook, play music, paint blurry pictures, and pace around.
