Hi! I'm Lydia Zhang and I'm a second-year PhD student in Neural Systems & Behavior in the Psychology program. I grew up in Beijing, China. In 2022, I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and Economics from Emory University. Currently, I'm interested in using pose estimation and neuronal manipulations to study walking kinematics and static stability in flies across social contexts. Outside of the lab, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking with friends, and volunteering at an animal shelter.
