Hi! I’m Sahana Bettada, and I’m an undergraduate student at the UW. My current research interests include neural circuitry and computation, sensory processing, and reward signaling + its relation to behavior. I’m also passionate about advocating for mental health + equity in mental health care, and hope to one day apply parts of my research to this. I plan on continuing my research in neuroscience and psychology through undergrad and grad school. Outside the lab I enjoy singing, listening to/making music, painting, writing, and being in nature. I also like to dabble in fashion, cinema, and other visual art. I’m grateful to my academic and research community at UW, my family and my friends!
